What our campers think REALLY matters.

See for yourself what past & present campers have to say about New Meadow Farm.

Anita was amazing! I got loads of individual attention and advice, plus Anita’s presence was very calming when I got nervous. My favorite memory from camp was when my bunkmates and I took our books to the rec room during free time and read together, listening to the horses munching on hay below us in the stables.

New Meadow can help you learn the skills to be a professional horseman!

"I loved New Meadow because it was more then just a camp, it was a second home, and a second family. I met lifelong friends at New Meadow and made memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I learned so much of the fundamentals of horsemanship that I still use every day, in my current job. I owe a lot of my success in my job to what I learned at New Meadow.

I am currently working as the head groom and barn manager for 4* event rider Laine Ashker. I am also competing my own OTTB mare Time of My Life, 'Lilly' at the preliminary level." - Lauren Sherrill, New Meadow alumni

I LOVE going cross country on the trails because it was so beautiful and fun in the woods! I keep in touch with my camp friends all year.

What two time camper Sarah had to say about our program….

"I want to thank you for a wonderful time at camp.  I learned so much from you and feel reinsured.  My riding could have never improved so quickly without your help, you were a real eye opener for me.  My instructors at home noticed a big improvement on my part when I came back…. My dressage teacher said I am on a whole new level, those were her exact words!  My jumping instructor said I can soon start showing 3 foot.  I have to say that I could not have accomplished this so quickly without those 2 weeks of camp learning from you.  I just want you to know that you have impacted my riding and inspired me to have courage and confidence within myself.  Thank you for all that you have done for me."

Grace was always a little nervous without her parents, but camp gave her a new level of confidence! She made new friends and is much more independent now!

"I love how at camp there are so many different people from around the world. All of the girls are so nice. Even though I don't see my friends from camp, we keep in touch all the time. Everyone is so supportive. I loved the riding. The coaches are amazing. I loved learning how to really bond with my pony. I always laughed a lot and have a lot of great memories. I could talk about camp for hours and hours!!" -Maddy from Maryland

My favorite memory from camp was when we would go out on trails and sign random songs as we rode through the cow fields!

Throughout the year, we host camper reunions both at New Meadow and in the Philadelphia area, here's what one camper had to say about our Spring Reunion that took place near her birthday...

"I really want to do this because I could spend time with my friends and favorite horses like Mustang Sally, Cobalt, Pipsqueak, and Clementine.  It would also be a great birthday and Kulpie makes the best birthday cakes!" - Marina
